Not sure what to say?

I literally just happened to see this obituary by chance this morning, and I was shaken to the core. In college at the University, Jim was my room mate and one of the best friends I ever had. He was an exceptional person in every way. I am a bit in shock just learning of this, but I want to extend my deepest sympathy to his entire family, especially to Carolyn, Sonny and Bill, all of whom I knew in college as well. The memories I have of this man could fill many pages, and though I have...

Sonny, Bill - Extremely sad to hear about Jimmy. Please contact me soonest at your convenience.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Garner family and friends in this time of bereavement. Sorry for your loss. May the memories shared help you cope through this difficult time.

Bill and Sonny, sorry to hear of your brother's passing. Sincerely, Phil McCullough

Bill McAllister here. I roomed with Jimmy at the Executive Inn apartments in Tuscaloosa while we were in college. Him, me, and Tommy Crocker were the big three. Jimmy was too funny. My most fond memory of him was after washing his hair he would turn on the heat and shut off all the vents but one and use the open one as his hair dryer. He also used to look forward to weekends when I went home and my mother sent back cookies, cakes, and other food. My condolences. [email protected]

Garner family I am sorry to hear of your loved one falling asleep in death. Memories keep them alive.
