Not sure what to say?

To the Glasgow Family: The Gardiner family of Birmingham/Tuscaloosa send their deepest condolences. The Gardiner and Glasgow family have been friends since the 1940's. Jeanine Glasgow and Lamar Lowery are so beloved by our family as was Jimmy and all his family. So sorry to learn of this loss. Billingsley Gardiner

Dear Gina, Rusty and Mrs. Glasgow, I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Glasgow's passing. I have such wonderful memories of our years at Warrington Baptist and my years with Gina at PHS. May you be comforted by the promise of our Heavenly Father that you will see him again one day in a place where all will be perfect.

Janna Clay Edwards

Rusty and family, Tony and I were sad to hear of Jimmy's death. I always enjoyed being around him, he was a good man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Irona, Gina, and Rusty, how fortunate you were to have a husband and father like Jimmy. I remember him as one of the kindest men in Warrington Baptist Church. Ann Baker just called me today to tell me of his passing.
Having lost Phillip two years ago, I know how difficult it is to cope with the loss. However, I also know that the presence of the Comforter in my life has begun to bring some peace. I pray that for each of you.
My prayers are that God will strengthen you as...

TO THE FAMILY,
I WAS A CHEERLEADER AT JONES VALLEY WHEN 'FOOTS' PLAYED FOOTBALL THERE. THOSE WERE GOOD MEMORIES THAT WILL ALWAYS BE TREASURED. YOU WERE BLESSED WITH ALL THE GOOD YEARS YOU SHARED AS A FAMILY, MY JONES VALLEY FOOTBALL PLAYER HUSBAND DIED AT 43 BUT HE LIVES IN MY HEART AS YOUR HUSBAND WILL LIVE IN YOURS UNTIL WE ARE ALL REUNITED IN THAT 'CITY PAVED IN GOLD.'

LEILA HARDWICK BUSH

The class of '51 at JVHS knew him as "Foots". He will always be in our memories...

Irona, Rusty and Gina, I hope that it helps to heal your heart to know that one day you will all be together again. Please count on your friends and each other for support. We loved Jimmy as we loved our own family. I will always remember the times we shared and the fun we had. We are so thankful that we were included in the celebration of his life last year in Bryson City. What a blessing that was.

I remember Mr. Glasgow as a student at Woodham High School Class of 96. When I was sent to the office he would always say something to make me improve my behavior. He will be missed!

We love the Glasgow family and have many fond memories of our times together. We especially remember the time we borrowed your swimming pool for a Methodist Baptism!!!!! Our children enjoyed your children when we lived in the parsonage just around the corner from you.
May you know we are thinking of each of you at this time of celebration of a loved one's life.
