Not sure what to say?

When Jimmy was the company commander of "B" company at Oklahoma Military Academy, I was his first sargent. Have never been around a more fun loving guy than what Jimmy was. I laughed more during that period than I did than any other period in my life. What a wonderful person. We remained friends until his end. Unfortunately my wife of 37 years died from brain cancer about the same time Jimmy did. I never responded to his death. When we have reunions we all talk about what a great guy...

I met Jimmy at Oklahoma military academy. He lived life to the fullest! Always pulling jokes on many of his fellow cadets! Fun to be around! Great guy! A leader in what ever we wanted to do! .

In my first year at OMA, my roommate Don Page was transferred to "B" Company our second semester. As a close friend of Don's and subsequently a friend with Jimmy, I experienced his laughter and sense of humor many times riding with them in his "Cherry Red" GTO. He was always keeping us in stitches. I loved that car, it was the reason I asked for a GTO for my HS Graduation Gift. Little did I know, Pontiac was redesigning the GTO with the "rubber baby buggy bumper in '68". In my second year, I...

Jimmy was a heck of a guy. While we were at Oklahoma Military Academy in the mid-60s, he was the Company Commander of B Company, Captain Jimmy Hahn. I was selected to be his First Sargent. He was serious when he needed to be, but also he was more fun than a barrel of monkeys. In my 3 years at OMA was best position to be in, all because of Jimmy’s personality and leadership abilities. We remained friends to the end. Was around when he met Diane, one of my Squad members sisters, who later...

I remember Jimmy for his lively spirit at our family reunions. I remember him as a child and as an adolescent who was always reaching out to be included with the older cousins' activities. I will never forget his courageous endurance at the loss of his son, Justin. I will reflect on his blessing and comic performance at the marriage of his daughter. I will always regret not spending more time with him, listening to his stories - for he was an able, animated ...

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jimmy, he was a good friend while growing up with Gary Aker and others.

Jimmy was a definite standout cadet in a number of categories!
Rest In Peace my brother!

I was privileged to be at Oklahoma Military Academy with Jimmy. There was never any doubt if he was in the room. He could command a troop with one look and break you out in laughter with another. Over the years after OMA we would run in to each other in Okc - stop and talk and catch up a bit. As funny and as carefree as he may have been seen, it was obvious he adored his family - and I know he was crushed when he lost his son. I can say without reservation that he was loved by his fellow...
