Survivors include his wife, Linda Gay Harrington; children, Danny Harrington and wife Becky Tucker Harrington, Barry Harrington and wife Jennifer Nannette Harrington, Brian Harrington and wife Melissa Harrington, and Jennifer Hamm and husband David Hamm; grandchildren, Chance, Brady, Tanner, Connor, Raygan, and Trevan; sister, Margaret Bell; sisters-in-law, Carrine Harrington and Barbara Harrington; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia for the compassionate care given to Jimmy. They would also like to express their gratitude to all family, friends, and neighbors for the food, prayers, and many acts of kindness shown during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 5–7 PM at Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion. Private graveside services will be held Friday at Resurrection Gardens at Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Sage and Pastor Tim Boardwine officiating.
