Not sure what to say?

I'm terribly sorry to hear about Mr. Harrison. He was my freshman music appreciation teacher at Foley High School last year, and he taught the best music class I have ever taken. He inspired me to learn to play the piano and sparked my interest in classical music. My condolences again, he was a wonderful person.

My personal regrets to Jimmy's family. Jimmy was my roommate in Alumni Hall at Troy. I remember his affable personality and love for music. He also kept a very neat room which pressure me to keep mine side cleaner. We shared some good times togethere that year. It's good to know he made a difference in the lives of students as a teacher. To Jimmy's Family
I was sadden yesterday to find out that Jimmy had passed away. Jimmy and I both started Troy in the Fall of 1967 and have remained in contact with each other throughout the years. He was a great friend. His love for music was always evident in everything he did. We shared some great memories being a part of the original crowd of "The Sound of The South". My thoughts are with the family.

I played with Jimmy in the Baldwin Pops Band in Baldwin County. I was surprised and saddened to learn of his death. He will be missed! My sympathy to all his family.

I would like ot extend my condolences to his family. So sorry to hear about their loss. I was one of his students @ HHS. Mr Harrison was a great band director and teacher. He taught us a lot. He had a lot of great ideas. My sister and I were the fiddle players from 1994-1998 and if it hadn't been for him we wouldn't have been able to show off our talent in the band like we did. He will be missed.

When I heard about Mr. Harrison's passing, I was very surprised. Mr. Harrison was a great band director, I have many great memories of being a member of the HHS Band, I learned many things from him and will always remember the fun times that we all shared. Mr. Harrison was a very talented man and I always was amazed at his ability to play many instuments. I learned alot about music from him and have a great love for music to this day...My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We will all...

I'm another of Jimmy's old caving companions from the days of my youth in Panama City and at FSU. I met him through a mutual friend and fellow FROG member, and we caved together several times. We will miss him

I would just like to express my graditude for Mr. Harrison. I was, as many others were, part of his band at Hayden High School. He owned that band, and expected nothing but greatness from it. I am very proud to know Mr. Harrison taught me to play the trumpet. When I walked down the isle on June 5th, 1999 Mr. Harrison proudly played the Wedding March for me. He was so handsome that day. So many of my guests raved about how beautifully he played the piano that day. I will forever be greatful...
