Not sure what to say?

My Dear Gene,
What can i say i to miss your whistle i bet u didn't even know you were doing it..I miss our weekly talks.I can't believe it was 34 yrs ago we met at Scorpio's in Charlotte.I thank God you came to vist me before we found out about your cancer..I still hurt but time will only heal the pain until we meet again my dear sarcastic funny friend.

My time with Gene was a very special time of my life. When Gene decided to move back to Albemarle, I spent weeks with him to help him pack. We made some good memories to laugh about. We stayed up late laughing about anything and everythhing. We both said we felt like we were teenagers again. Thank you Gene for the memories of laughter. I just found out my dear friend is gone and we can no longer make new memories, but I am going to hold on to those sweet, sweet memories I do have. Gene, I love...

I am sorry for your loss,my prayers for the family.

Gene I just want you to know I'm going to miss you, you were a very special friend and I will never forget you. I so wish I could have made things better for you but it was out of my hands. God had plans for you and I know you are where you are happy no hurting and Bless God you can walk with no problems. I have cried and beat myself down because you were alone when God called you home in my heart I know you don't want me to do that so I will try to think of happy times we had . So whistle on...

My thoughts and prayers for the family and close friends of his.

GENE WAS A VERY SPECIAL CHILD HOOD FRIEND AND NEIGHBOR. WE ALL LOVED EACH OTHER VERY MUCH AND HEAVENS GAIN IS OUR LOSS.WE THOUGHT GENE WAS MOVING BACK TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD BUT THE GOOD LORD NEEDED HIM FOR OTHER THINGS.I MET ONE OF GENES SPECIAL FRIENDS VICKY AND I WANT HER TO KNOW THAT SHE HAS A BIG HEART FOR HELPING GENE THE WAY SHE DID . I SEEN THAT FOR MY SELF. SO VICKY YOU HAVE ALREADY EARNED YOUR PLACE IN HEAVEN ALSO.I KNOW YOU WILL MISS GENE AND YOU HAVE A HEAVY HEART AT THIS TIME BUT...
