Not sure what to say?

Loved watching his movies. His Henry Aldrich series was the best. Had a crush on him Rest In Peace.

I loved his work. He seemed like somebody you could easily relate with.

This may sound odd but I often thought of Mr. Lyndon not just because I loved his body of work but because as a child I went to parochial school ( St. Victor's Catholic Parish ) in West Hollywood with his daughter Julie who was a very beautiful, sweet and intelligent young girl. She often spoke of her dad with pride. Wonderful memories to be sure. May God bless the entire Lydon family now and always.

I sent Jimmy a letter back in 2011 asking for information about one of my favorite actresses, the beautiful but tragic actress Gail Russell who he worked with in one of her first film roles "Henry Aldrich Gets Glamour". He replied with a lovely hand written note with personal recollections about the film and his experience in working with her. A true gentlemen and a consummate professional.

I always enjoyed watching Jimmy Lydon on TV...from his early "awkward teenager" roles to "Life With Father" to his later appearances on TV westerns, etc., Jimmy was a gifted and talented actor. He could do it all, from comedy to drama. My condolences to the family, friends, and fellow fans of Jimmy Lydon at this sad and difficult time. He has left us a wonderful legacy of film performances.

Godspeed Jimmy, a long life well lived, and thank you for the wonderful film and TV memories of long ago. Unforgettable.

he usually played a gawky kid like me, which gave me hope. May he rest in peace.
