Not sure what to say?

Jimmy send me an autographed picture when he played for Cleveland when I was 12 yo. My last name is Piersall too, I thought we were related.

Around the early 1960´s, I got his autograph when the Angels came to Fullerton for an exhibition game. I remember he was so enthusiastic and engaging I always remembered him. I still have the baseball he signed. Mark Parrish Riverside, CA

It really helps to see your beautiful smile light up my world and be so unforgivable yet dangerously unforgettable... I know you remember the taste of my lips and our 15 minute kiss... the rising and stirring of unknown feelings going graciously soundlessly also happily over the cool, crispy, heart felt moon. Why so lonely when I head into the glimpse of you? The thought of loneliness and years of anxiety separation from troubles that'll fade away soon. I will only share this reluctant,...

I loved Jimmy Piersall as a young girl When he played for the Cleveland Indians I won a pair of tickets to 6 games because of straight A's. He was my hero. Later I read his book. Fear Strikes Out, and saw the movie. I always prayed for him.

I was inrigued by Mr. Piersalls story as i watched fear strikes out for the first time with my father when i was about 10 or so. He is a picture of perseverence , courage, and tonacity. i never had the pleasure of seeing him play in person, as he had retired before i was born . He became my favorite baseball player as a kid, and is still today! I wear a " Boston " Jersey with the name Piersall and 27 on the back with pride. It has gotten me alot of nice compliments and it allows me to talk...

I was there, June 23, 1963, at the old Polo Grounds. Mets vs. Phillies. Mr. Jimmy P. hit his 100th homer. And ran the bases backwards! I can remember the uproar in the stadium. My father told me this was special, and I would remember it all my life. He was right. Thank you! for this very special memory.

My condolences to the Piersall Family. I recently discovered that we have JSA authenticated 1920s baseball autographed bt Babe Ruth and Jimmy Piersall. Before we decide what to do with it I'm wondering if you or your family is interested in it. Sincerely, Mike Dracut

Played basketball with Jimmy while at Tri-State College in Angola, Indiana in 1972. His Stakehouse on Crooked Lake and solid frame was like running into a concrete wall.

I have to add to the August 22, 2019 comment. Yes! Jimmy was fun to watch. In fact as 13 year old in 1961, I had no interest in watching baseball on tv with my dad, until I saw Jimmy Piersall in his Cleveland Indians uniform entertaining the fans with his antics. So I am one fan who certainly remembers Jimmy as a Cleveland Indian. He made baseball fun.
