I’m Just a kid back from 1991, that discovered you back in California, while searching for records of past hip-hop legends like Afrika-Bambaataa, Whodini, the Furious Five, etc..
Your voice, delivery and infamous “Super Rhymes” rap. Much Respect Jimmy. May God Bless you. You will not be forgotten by this 46 year old “hip-hop kid”.

I'm sorry to say this is 2023 and I'm just finding out about Jimmy's passing. I knew rapper's delight but only bits and pieces. SUPER RHYMES was the first and only rap I knew from beginning to end. I'm sending prayers to his family (never to late) my heart is feeling so broken because he was a poet and musician, that put together...equaled Rap! I can't listen to Super RHYMES without remembering the past...which always makes me smile, just like they are doing in heaven ❤

Deepest Condolences to the family of one of the early hip hop pioneer's of rap and story teller's. I remember being on the school bus back when bus drivers could play music on the school bus and the driver would play Jimmy Spicer's tape the first rap that played was Super Rymes my oldest brother, his friends would always play it at home. From the first day I heard Super Rymes I loved it! I still listen to it, Money, the bubble bunch and others. Jimmy Spicer is my first #1 rapper of all time...
