Not sure what to say?

I was in Madison Square Garden on a snowy night in the 1960s watching the ECAC tournament, and I was awed by the incomparable performance of Jimmy as he scored 50 against Boston College. It was the best live performance I ever witnessed, and all I remember is the swish of the net time after time whenever Jimmy shot the ball. I was 16 years old and I'll never forget that amazing night, and the man behind it. What a legend.

Wow...coming up to his anniversary of his death! May his soul rest in peace! Great knowing ya Walk!!!!

Its been 13 years since the passing of dad.

Those who knew him in childhood and young adulthood, I would like to learn your stories of experience, to know more about my dad. If you see this, please do not hesitate to reach out

A few days late saying condolences to a great friend that I and my rother Tony and i grew up with. I remember so many things about Jimmy that I could tell the people about it would definately take a book for sure. I remember the pride we all felt when you represented the "Hood" at Providence College and during your phenomenal basketball career. I'm sorry to learn of your passing and hope your children will long remember and appreciate the legacy you gave to them and to your community. My sincere condolences to your family and friends.

Daddy, Rest now God will look after your children & grandchildren as he has always done. Now you can enjoy the view with him. We will be okay.

My condolence to the Walker family.

I met Jimmy thirty years ago when he along with other post pro players participated in basketball and tennis camps (for inner city youths) as well as tournaments held at the Wohl Community Center, Forest and Fairground Parks here in St. Louis. I will always remember our debate over the correct pronunciation of "tournament." He truly was fun to be around and a pleasure to know. He was interesting, funny, charming, articulate, professional,...

Back in the day..we really had some good time together..I will always cherish those memories.
