Not sure what to say?

Will miss seeing you. The neighborhood just won't be the same without you. It seems like I have known you most of my 40 yrs. Somehow I don't feel like a little kid anymore either. Rip Jimmy

I'm very saddened to hear about Jim's passing. He was a good friend of my former husband and I remember him as being so quiet and gentle and a pleasure to be around. Hard to believe he was actually a wrestler. I have some picture of him holding my son when he was a tiny baby I'll try to find and post.

When Jim would wrestle in Fort Smith, Ar in the 1960's, my parents would make him Syrian food for his long rides. He was a true friend, great wrestler, and a nice human being ! What a first class man !!! Fal ya kon thik roo hu moo abadan !!!

Ak, Thanks for all the memories.

Skandar was my uncle. I loved him so. I knew he was a kind and gentle giant. When he took me to the wrestling matches, and everyone booed, I was so mad! I clapped and yelled for him. After the matches he sweetly told me that he was the "bad" guy, and he wanted people to boo. Katie Dye

After the Sportatorium closed Mr. Wehba/Akbar used to come to my place of business and was always very friendly and was always such a joy to be around. Thank you for all the memories.

I was very saddened to learn Scandor had passed away. You always treated me with respect from the first time we met at the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, MO. Prayers and thoughts go to your family and friends. RIP

Thanks Skandor Akbar for being a good friend. You gave me a BIG yes when you seen me on tv as The Taxi Santa of Dallas. Thanks and may God bless you.
