Not sure what to say?

I think of him often and our years of emails.I grew to love him and now miss him so much. We were both writers and always working on the family tree. Then over the next 15 years became close friends as will as cousins. We did not know each other growing up but after a few emails it was like we had known each other always.I loved him dearly and will never forget nim.I just wished I had methim in person and had someone his books. Miss you Jim!

I've just found out about the departure from this dimension of the dynamic duo brother and sister tag team of Jim and Candis Wheat. What loss. Candis had an affinity for "pups", a term I'll always remember her using. I have only known Jim for the last 15 years but it has been a wonderful trip.He became much more than just a cousin but a very good friend.I wouldn't take any thing for the things we shared. Miss him so much!

Dearest Jim,

I am so sad that you have left us. I am honored to have been your friend and classmate at Garland High School. You, Rodney(Wall) and I had some great times together! You will never be forgotten! Bless you, dear friend. Hope to "see you on the other side."

I feel so fortunate to have grown up knowing Jim. He was truly unique, clever, and had a supreme sense of humor. I quote from his humor books all the time and will continue to tell people about Jim and his comic genius throughout the rest of my life. He will be missed.

We will all miss you.

I'm sorry to hear of Jim's death. I have visited his websites many times.

We will all miss you, Jim. Spent many hours with you going over Cemetery Census information that was added to your Dallas County Archives. Am sorry to have not visited with you more during your last days. You added a lot of important historical information that will be seen by many people over the future years. Thank you, Jim.
