Jimmy Carl Williams

Jimmy Carl Williams, age 67, of Amity, died Monday, June 13, 2011. He was born on December 26, 1943, in Amity, the son of George Williams and Gladys Lorene Boyd Williams. Jimmy was a merchant in Amity for over 40 years and served on the Board of Directors of Chambers Bank. He was a board member of HUD in Amity and a graduate of Henderson State Teachers College. Jimmy served in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Rena Williams of Hot Springs; two sons, Jimmy Paul Williams of Pearcy and George Anthony Williams of Hot Springs; two step-daughters, Debbie Conine of Little Rock and Dena Still of Arkadelphia; his brother, Dr. Curtis Williams of Searcy; and thirteen grandchildren.
