She was a real icon for me. She had this wonderful lesbian butch energy and was also so very kind and intelligent and inspiring. She worked hard to add to the creative lesbian community. So she is a mother to us all.

Oh Jinx I didn´t know you had died. I worked with you on the LN back in the 80s when my name was still Jessy Lasnover, and bought a lot of your partner´s (Alicia Austen) art over the years. You congratulated me on my first published story. You were such a powerful personality. You told me stories about how you started LN by putting copies on car windows at gay hangouts and events and were so strong in your opinion that Ln should only have stories about lesbians.
