Katie, I've known your husband and his family for many years. I know you will miss him dearly. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that others care and God knows the plans He has for each of us.

Mr. McCullough was a fine man and a true gentleman. I had the pleasure of getting to know him during my tenure with the Clarion-Ledger covering Madison County government. Although we were often adversaries because of our professional positions, we were always honest and straightforward with each other and shared a mutual respect -- and enjoyed the "dance," as he often described it.
A true loss for Madison County and the state. Rest in Peace, my friend.
