All of us at Alger Pediatrics are heart broken at the loss of JoAnn. Since her death, I have had so many charts that have had her notes in them addressing the needs of the children she cared for at our office. She was calm, patient, and insightful. She never rushed to judgement and respected each of the children and families that she saw. Her faith was obvious but not overt. Each of the young people she saw was the face of Christ to her. The world has lost a truly wonderful woman. Her smile would always win friends and her talents, nurturing and medical skills helped empower everyone. We will always remember her greatness that she projected in so many ways and for her stong Christian love.
