Joanne and I went to high school together in Tenafly, New Jersey graduating in 1966. I reunited with her again when she moved down to Lake Worth. She and I also met in our oncologist's office a couple of years back. I am so sad to hear of her long battle but she had a such a strong spirit!

Fly high my love. You fought a long courageous fight. You were memorialized on my birthday. If I had known, I would have been there to celebrate your life with the people who saw in you what I did. You were just a loving, caring person. I was you first student and first to graduate from Project Women Can. You taught lessons that weren't just about wood, you taught life skills to women, some who never used tools or given unconditional love, you taught and gave freely. You will always be in my heart. ♥
