KELLETT, Jo-Ann - Age 71, died Monday, July 10, 2006 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM Friday, July 14, 2006 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 East Fifth Avenue in Flint, Father John Fain officiating. Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Kellett will remain at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road where the family will receive friends from 12 Noon-4PM and 6-8PM Thursday. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. Jo-Ann will be at the church from 9:30AM until the time of the Mass on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the IHM Retirement Fund. Jo-Ann was born in Flint, Michigan on October 19, 1934, the daughter of Harry and Susan Seidenwand. Jo-Ann was a resident of Flint most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Michael's Catholic High School, Class of 1953. She married Robert W. Kellett on November 28, 1953 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Flint. Jo-Ann was a former member of St. Michael's, St. Luke's and All Saint's Catholic Churches of Flint and a current member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Holly, Michigan. Jo-Ann enjoyed traveling, she visited 49 states. She enjoyed being with her friends at the Monday Morning Breakfast Club. Jo-Ann was a loving wife of 52 years to husband, Bob; devoted mother to 8 children, Robert J., Ann Marie and husband Dr. Harvey Yee of Goodrich, Teresa Allard of Grand Blanc, Jeanne and husband Bob Kaczorowski of Flint, Dennis of Swartz Creek, James and wife Stacy of Goodrich, Mary Jo and husband Niles Owen of Fenton, Michelle and husband John Van Tol of Flushing; grandmother of 23; great-grandmother of 7; also surviving 2 sisters, Sr. Kate Seidenwand of Detroit and Lois and husband Glenn McVeigh of Hersey, MI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, Bobby; grandson, James Kaczorowski, great-grandson, Antonio Vasquez; 3 brothers, Harry, Fr. Eugene and John; 2 sisters, Cecyle and Mary.
