Jo Anne Johnston

Jo Anne Johnston, 74, of Palm Desert, CA, passed away, September 2, 2010 of cancer. She was born August 19, 1936 in Loveland, CO to Joe and June Lebsack. Jody married Peter A. Johnston on November 29, 1985. She was known to her friends and family as Jody. Jody had a career in travel management in Los Angeles for 30 years. For many years she managed the United Airlines Travel desk at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Peter was president and owner of Harger-Haldeman Auto-Leasing, Los Angeles, CA. They retired to Palm Desert in 1989. They attended Community Presbyterian Church. Jody is survived by: her brother and sister-in-law James and Judy Lebsack of Oklahoma City, OK; her brother and sister –in –law Jerry D. and Jeannie Lebsack of Yuma, Colorado; step sons: Peter Michael Johnston of New York, NY and Palm Springs, CA Craig Johnston of Santa Ana, CA; Todd Johnston of Huntington, Beach, CA; grandchildren: Ryan Johnston of Huntington Beach, CA; Jennifer Johnston, Huntington Beach, CA. Nephews and nieces, Mark and Diane Lebsack of Oklahoma City, OK; and their children,Ellie and Molly Lebsack; Mike and Cathy Lebsack of Oklahoma City, OK; Mike Lebsack of Yuma, Colorado; Kristin and Eric Metcalfe of Yuma, Colorado; Ryan Lebsack of Yuma, Colorado.
