Not sure what to say?

I was very saddened to hear that Jo had passed away. I had most recently seen her a few months ago at LLUMC while her son was admitted there and my granddaughter was admitted there also. I know she was very concerned about her son at the time and we both said we would pray for each others loved ones. She also attended my retirement last year in June of 2009. She brought her son and his wife with her. I was real happy to see her there. In 1975 I worked for Jo at the 1st floor reception...

I worked with Jo for many years until she retired. She was always kind, professional and fun to be around. She made people feel comfortable and welcome. She has earned her wings thru public service and kindness to all! Blessings for her and hers!

I worked with Jo as far back as 1976 when we were both working for the Welfare Dept. Over the years I remember watching her work, retire, return again, but whatever project she was working on, she was always a professional, treating her clients with dignity. When our children were small, Jo loved baking birthday cakes for them and even babysat for me when she was available. I cherish the time I knew her and know that she will be greatly missed by friends and family.

...I worked with Jo for many years....she was always a lady...I never heard her use a curse word or talk about anyone behind their backs....I did however, often watch her giggle when I committed those sins.....wonderful pictures....she was an asset to the County of San Bernardino...
