Not sure what to say?

This precious lady will be missed greatly! She always had hugs and compliments every time she saw me. I was also one of the lucky kiddos that was served by her at school in the 90s. Whenever I didn't like something that was served on the lunch line, she would run to the back and make me a peanut butter and honey sandwich. She was one of a kind and forever loved by my family!

What a wonderful person. She will be greatly missed. I did her hair for many years and shared many praise reports and answered prayers. She truly loved her family and was so proud to share their success in life. Her hugs as a greeter at the church made you feel so welcomed and things would be ok and continue to trust God no matter what. I had been thinking about her for days before reading of her passing. Love to all the family. She loved when Leah would dance before the Lord in worship.

Thinking of the family during this hard time and sending so so many prayers your way. God has called home the most loving and big hearted woman that I was blessed enough to have in my life. I will miss seeing her beautiful face and most of all, her big hugs that made me feel at home. I am thankful to have had the chance and continue to hold so much love for Mrs. Brown. She will forever be such a beautiful light in my life. With so much love, Dani

We were so blessed to know Joann she was a beautiful lady inside and out we will miss her. Prayers for her family.

Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.  May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Jo Ann was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She had a fantastic personality and a kind spirit. I always looked forward to seeing her at the Trusler- Large reunions here in Elizabethton. She was loved will be missed. We are praying for all of you. Love, Lowell and Linda Shell
