Not sure what to say?

Jo Anne Combs was a very special person. She was bright, caring and an exceptional lawyer. She loved Tom and her son, and they were and are special. They are people who make a difference in our lives, they did in mine. They thought things out and challenged the norm. I am so glad they came into my life. The stories they told and the things they did continue to make a difference. Thank you for the opportunity to again thank them for all the positive things they have done. Carl Knight.

Tom and Blinn,
So sorry to hear the news of Jo Ann's passing. In addition to appreciating her competent help with my legal matters, I'll always remember Jo Ann for her great and irreverent sense of humor. We had some good discussions about the state of the universe as we know it. Plus, she was a cat lover!
She'll be greatly missed by us all.
Your friend,
Dan

Jo Ann Combs was a very special person. She so enjoyed her life with her family and assisting others in the community where she was born and raised. Jo Ann was one of those rare, gifted individuals who stood out from the rest of us with her academic abilities, a person who loved to learn. She used these natural gifts to uphold the laws she so deeply believed in. Jo Ann made a difference in the lives of all those she touched and is deeply missed. How fortunate we are to have known an...

To speak of Jo Ann and remember her brief visit with us on this earthly journey one can tell you of her brilliance at helping her clients and friends, her gift of common sense when teaching the listener, her devotion to God, family, church and community and the always enduring smile for everyone through her journey here on earth. I knew this was never her true home, her feet were always planted right where her parents raised them to be. Her Christian love encouraged, inspired and guided me...

I felt a great loss when I heard this news. Jo Ann was in the Class of 70 and I was in 71, so we traveled through school together, and that just makes you life-long friends. As so often happens, i had been thinking about her last week, regarding some work she did for my family. She was taking care of a legal issue, and did a great job. It was also a pleasure to catch up on times gone by. I would find myself talking and talking, as I can sometime do, and with her full engagement, because...

When we moved to Kaufman we lived two doors down from Jo Ann and her parents. We both rode the same bus to high school and she would ask if I wanted to sit by her on the bus. Being new to Kaufman, I always appreciated that kindness she extended and knew early on what a kind person she was. Sincerely condolences to her family at this time.

Tom and Blinn,
