Not sure what to say?

Ahhh Joey Fletcher ! The girl with the beautiful red hair and bright eyes. We went to grade school and high school and saw each other at reunions . I was so happy when I heard that her and Gene had gotten together love always kinds a way ! So sad to lose this amazing person. Bless her heart

My heart goes out to Gene and all who lived her. Joey was my best friend in high school. She would pick me up for school in her fancy fun car. We would go to her house for lunch and eat tuna sandwiches and drink a bottle of coke like it was a ritual. We did crazy stuff! Just ask Marcy! I will miss her even though we haven´t seen each other for years and will miss seeing her posts and comments. Hugs to all her loved her.

I worked with Joey for years on Wellness and Early Start policy and initiatives. She was kind, supportive and steady in her focus on the meaningful work she did. She made a difference in this world and helped people who will never know she helped them. Peace to Joey´s family.

Dear Gene, I am so very sorry to hear of Joey´s passing. She was a fantastic person. This is a terrible loss. As you know, we were neighbors and grew up together from the age of 1 years old. I was so delighted to hear about you and Joey reconnecting and marrying. I am very very sorry for your loss. I will always remember fond memories of our childhood together. Again, I´m so sorry Gene. I worked with Joey at the Regional Center. She had a great sense of humor and I admired how passionate she was about our mission and outspoken when she needed to be. I've tried to be more like her. She made a difference of people and was wonderful to be around.

I am so very sad to hear of Joeys passing. I knew Joey from second grade at Royal Palm through Senior at Sunnslope High School. Though we hung out with different friends she was always kind, thoughtful, and caring to all whom she interacted. It is hard to grasp that a person as accomplished and compassionate as Joey should be taken from life so early by such an illness. Very very sad news. Gene I am so sorry for the loss of Joey - your life partner.

Oh Gene! Beautiful! No words! Love Jan

I really got to know you this year and loved our conversations we had together. I know God has you in his arms know and we will all be together again. I love you Dana
