Not sure what to say?

We went on a lot of car trips, including to Cedar Lake. There were six of us, and we spent much of the time playing 20 questions. One of the first few questions was "Is it a man?" The first time the solution was Jo Ann Mann, everybody was stumped. After that if the answer to the "Is it a man?" question was yes, the next question was "Is it Jo Ann Mann?" If the answer to that question was "No" the next question was "Does this man always wear blue?" If the answer was "No" it wasn't Judy. ...

Dear Jane, Judy, and Chip, I am so very sadden to hear of your mother's passing. She was always a good friend and did so much for Camp Alice Chester as well as our other camps. I will be with you in spirit as I can not get a flight out of Phoenix. Love Sue

Mrs. Mann will be remembered fondly as the most wonderful volleyball coach for me at SJC.
Heartfelt prayers to her family.

Chip, Judy & Jane, I feel so blessed that I was able to get to know your mother in a different light when I started volunteering at Schlitz Audubon Center after I retired. She was so talented in her work with Ray's Team. I appreciated her always-smiling face.

Jane, Judy, and Chip,
I was sad to learn of Jo Ann's passing. It was a pleasure getting to know you mother again as she dined with my mother at Laurel Oaks. At dinner, she kept us in stitches with her tales of the army and other adventures. I also have many wonderful memories of Four Winds and her positive influence on so many through scouting. May her memory be a blessing.

Jane, Judy, Chip -- my sincere love to you in this time. Is it possible we've all known each other for over 50 years? I so remember our Brownie and Girl Scout outings, SilverBrook, and so many other adventures we shared. Jo lived a long and glorious life and she will be missed. I am honored to say I knew her.. and all of you.

When I was a child Jo was a big influence in my life; there were the BEMMM's activities, with summer visits to Cedar Lake, New Year's Eve gatherings, etc.
Last summer, while out for a drive, we had the opportunity to have dropped in for a brief visit at Cedar Lake, where Jo appeared to be in her glory. It was always great to chat with Jo at Laural Oaks, when I was there to visit my dad.
Jo, your energy, knowledge and smile will be greatly missed.

Jane, Judy, Chip,
So many wonderful memories of my "other family" at Northern Hills, just a few years ago. We were in Eagle River last week and thought about all of you, including "Hobson." Also remember your kindness when Mother died. Love and prayers to all.

So glad to have had the opportunity to know JoJo. So grateful for the friendship she offered my mother at the end of her life. Wishing peace, strength, and comfort to you all.
