I was a nurse at SFMC CHI. I worked on unit 2 in the old days and I frequently floated to Jo´s unit 3. She always had a big smile and welcomed me. She was demanding and ran a tight ship. That´s why she she had such a successful career. When she was going to have surgery she was a patient on my unit number 2. We really decorated her room with pranks. My sincerest condolences to the Scripture Family for the loss of your Joanne. I was lucky enough to get to dance and laugh with Joanne and eat those camp breakfasts she made. She always had a smile and a laugh to share and always made us (friends of Patti) feel welcome and loved.
