Read MoreI am terribly sorry for the news. Because I live abroad I found out about her passing today... I remember her warmth and smile and her beautiful house in Pasadena. Her family was always warm to me. As a young girl, she was a great flute teacher and was very patient with me when I didnt really know how to speak English. Thank you Jo and rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Jo's passing. She was an influential part of my daughter's musical education. This is a terrible loss. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
