Jo Tarrant Obituary

Jo Alice Tarrant, 65, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rufe Snow Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Palestine. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jo was married to her high school sweetheart, Mickey Tarrant, for 48 years. She was a loving wife, mother, mimmi and friend, and will be greatly missed. Jo was a lifetime member of Bethel Christian Church of Athens. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Tarrant. Survivors: Husband, Mickey; daughter, Donna Kraatz and husband, Eddie; grandson, Nate Kraatz; and brothers, Nolan Jensen and wife, Sheri, of Florida and Tom Jensen and wife, Rosa Lee, of Athens.
