Dear Bruce and Family,
It was with profound sadness that I read of your mom's passing. You were too young to remember but, your mom was the first to ask my mom if she could host a Bridal Shower for me! It was a wonderful gesture and party ! I still utilize the shower gift that she gave me - " The Joy of Cooking"! So very glad that Joan was a part of my life !

Our family loved Summers at Crescent Beach, especially when Joan would share a home-baked pie. She was an enthusiastic friend, helpful and kind to all. With heartfelt thoughts from Margaret Mary, Lavell & Dickon

Joan, you will be missed by everyone at 'Huntly Wynd'. We enjoyed your happy face and feistiness. You were a gracious hostess to the end. We enjoyed visits to your cottage in Crescent Beach as well. Your refreshments at HW rare garage sales were always appreciated. Rest in peace Joan.
