From there we went on to joining the fire company. Loved her sense of humor & her wealth of knowledge about Riegelsville. Joan was my mother's cousin (my mother was Bette Young Johnson). While I've lost touch with the Apple family over the years, I do have fond memories from growing up, and I send my heartfelt condolences to Scott, Sheila, and all of her family. It's beautiful that she lived to see great great grandchildren.
