Not sure what to say?

Sincerely sorry to hear about Joan's passing. I found out only recently. Last year we shared lunches together talking about old times. She was a remarkable person. I worked with Joan as a Broker and I can tell you, I never saw anyone who could communicate with people as she did. She spoke lovingly to me of her family and grandchildren. May you find comfort in all the wonderful memories she gave to you and hold them in your hearts forever.

To Joan's family and friends- I pray that you find comfort in your time of loss.

I worked with Joan at CT Mutual; she was further along in her career than I and she was very supportive, up-beat and most of all kind. It was a joy to be in her presence and to this day I remember her laugh. I also remember that she had a unique sense of style that I admired. I am blessed to have known Joan, she will be missed.

I first met this fabulous lady at a photo shoot we did for Japanalia. I was the make up artist. What a treasure she was! I will always smile when I remember her.

Joan was my best pal and dearest friend. I will miss her forever. She loved her family and was so proud of each of her children. She admired the fine people her grandchildren have grown up to be and thought that having great grandchildren was one of the best things that happened in her life.In addition to having a terrific sense of humor and appetite for fun, her political activism and sense of social justice was inspirational.

I worked in real estate with Joan for many years. She was a fantastic lady, very bright and lots of fun. My sympathy to your entire family. RIP Joan. Sincerely, Mary Ellyn Vicino AKA MEV

My husband and I remember Joan and Nelson as two very good friends. We theatered with them, drank, ate and partied with them. Joan was very brave after Nelson died and did such a wonderful job of raising you kids.
We remember her fondly.

Dear Betsy and Family,

I was so sorry to see your Mom today in the Obituaries. I had just seen her not too long ago at my work (Consignment Originals). I had not seen her since we were kids. We had the best talk and reminisced about when we were all kids. She spoke of how proud she was of her children and Grandchildren! She was a wonderful woman and my Mother and I are so sorry for your loss.
