Not sure what to say?

I lived across the street from the Balzer family. Mrs. Balzer was one of the nicest people that you ever met. The whole family was very nice. My sincere condolences.

Ms. Joan was such an amazing lady! I loved that my kids could run across the yard and sit and chat while she worked in her garden or took a break from cutting her grass. I loved that we could speak frankly about politics and life- all while sharing a beer. I could not go over there without being offered a beer (in true Wisconsin fashion). When we moved to Georgia two years ago, leaving her was one of the hardest things we had to do. So glad we were able to visit with her last summer when we...

It's so sad to say goodby to such a good, caring person, friend, and colleague. Our condolences to John, Paula, and the rest of the family.

I am so sorry for the immeasurable loss of your loved one. May God strengthen and sustain you with 'everlasting comfort and good hope' and 'comfort your hearts' during this deeply sad and terribly difficult time. - 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17

We send our love and sympathy and share in your loss. Joan was very important in our lives and we have so many wonderful memories both as a colleague and a friend. We loved and respected the woman she was. What a great family she leaves behind.( Rosemarie remembers Jane as her little fourth grader who loved the Ramona books.) Joan was a positive force in whatever role she held in Greendale and also for us personally. Our deepest sympathy to all the family and enjoy all those fun memories you...

Dear Jane and family,

I recall with fondness the times spent at your kitchen table in my younger years with your Mom. Her love of the occasional Schlitz beer and her amazing wit and good advice. I have thought about her often and am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was much loved.

She will be truly missed. She was a great pillar of light during our up bringing. People like her are a rare find! Bless her family. Emmons family
