I'm so very sorry to hear this news. I remember the Bamfords with great fondness. Joan was the calming force of a family with a lot of energy and personalities. My thoughts are with Burns, Kathy, Heidi, Mary and Jill.

I just heard of Joan's passing and cannot express just how sorry I am. I worked with Joan as part of the fifth grade team of teachers at Tracy Elementary School for almost a decade toward the end of her career. During that time we developed a great working relationship and a wonderful friendship. Those years will always be among my fondest memories.
