Joan Barry

We were saddened to hear of Joan's passing. She was my grandmother's (Catherine Boyle) neighbor and good friend at Overlook. I enjoyed visiting with Joan when I'd make my morning stops to visit my grandmother. She was a kind lady who loved to tell you about her family, especially her grandchildren and always asked about my own children, sometimes giving good motherly advice. She will be truly missed. I am so glad I had the chance to meet her and get to share her friendship.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I adored your Mom and
loved visiting with her when visiting my Grandma. What an Irish treat it was
to hear her dialect and kind words. Your Mom was a real treasure. I
know my Grandma from day one at Overlook Green was thankful for such a
wonderful friend to show her the ropes. It's so nice that they were
able to be friends for so long. Now, they get to be best of friends
