Not sure what to say?

Dear Bayouds,
You do not know me, but I am very grateful for the woman that was married to Dr. George. Our family was constant visitors to the offices and hospital @ Shiloh and Miller. Dr. Paige even delivered all four of the children in our family and Dr. George was always treating one of us. I was even in the hospital when I was 11 for 5 weeks, (horse riding accident) and your father was continously there and encouraging me to get better and get through this.
The strength of your...

I had the pleasure of being in Joan's company on several occasions over many years. Joan had a wonderful manner, and a spark to her that could not be missed. She was a truly beautiful woman. Devoted to her husband and family, dedicated to her community, and to those less fortunate than she was, I found her inspirational. As a longtime friend of Laura Hunt's, I know how devoted Laura was to her mother (and is to her father) and I know that her mother was deeply appreciative of the loving care...

I was in Denver & missed the services for this fabulous lady. A more devoted mom and grandmother has not been born, yet Joan also embraced the lives of others. She never allowed years to weaken the bonds of friendship.

Dear Laura and family,
I am so sad to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a beautiful woman with a big heart. I will always remember and feel gratitude for her hospitality during my first year as a boarder when she invited me into your home for a weekend visit. It was a warm, memorable(big)family experience and delicious home cooked meals. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Judy

Dear Papa George, George, Laura, David and Bradley,

We are saddened by the news of Joan's passing and Connie is thinking about her continuously. It was so wonderful to be reconnected when she came to my Mother's 85th birthday lunch at Goodfellows in March. I tried to reach her afterwards to tell her thanks and how good it was to see her. She was the picture of grace and beauty that day and as beautiful in spirit as always.

My Mother has a hard time writing these days so I asked...

To all the Bayoud's and Hunt's,

I am so sorry about your loss. She was such an amazing, beautiful and caring woman. I feel so honored to have spent time with her in Lyford and for her to take care of me when I was under the weather. You couldn't help but to feel so good around her. Her presence just made you smile.

David and Myth,
I'm so sorry to hear about this. I rememeber your mother when we were in Colorado and at your house on Turtle Creek, she was always so much fun! Thinking of you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I only met Mama Joan a few times. She was so kind as to let me stay at her home in Aspen many years ago when I visited with her granddaughter Alexis. She so graciously welcomed me into her home and into her family.
