Dear Children, You all were so blessed to call Joan your Mother! But she was a "mother" to so many others, too. For those of us who worked with Joan here at World Missionary Press, she cared for us, cried with us, loved on us, gave us godly advice, but most importantly, prayed with us and for us. Such precious memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Dear Children, I dont know if you remember us . The last time we saw you was at your Dads visitation and I think the girls remembered us from bygone days as special friends and cousins of your parents. We always had fun times with them including lots of laughs and spiritual conversations Your mom was a very special cousin to me from childhood. I will never forget her kindness and fun personality. We look forward to meeting her in Heaven. We send our love and sympathy.

We would like to express our sympathy to Joan's family. We loved your Mom and Dad from the time we met them at World Missionary Press in the 90's. What a blessing they were to us! We could sense their love for others and appreciated their welcoming spirits and unselfish ways. We had never met a couple that were so concerned about peoples souls! This was very evident as they lived their lives. Now they are both in Heaven with their Lord that they loved and served! May you all be blessed as...

This Incredible Woman of God I knew at an early age at Living Gospel Church, the church I grew up in. Her and Pastor Ott were like a Mom and Dad to me and Pastor Ott was instrumental in leading me to Christ when I was 7yrs old. She will be greatly missed and as an older man now I think of them both often and how they were so instrumental to my upbringing. Love you all Beer Family with my deepest sympathies. Press on and Remember Jeremiah 29:11 !

Joan was so full of love and it was that which drew me to her. I started attending Living Gospel ladies Bible study many years ago and grew to love The Word. As time went on I became a discussion leader. We met as leaders on Monday mornings to prep for the Wednesday study. It was around that table I grew even more with all the wisdom from Joan and others as we studied the Word. I loved her honesty which often became tears as she shared her life with us. The burden of praying for that sinner...
