Not sure what to say?

Dear Tommy and Jason
Words can not express my feelings at this time. Your mother and I worked together for 9 years, during that time we shared many laughs and
some days we felt like pulling out our hair, but we survived. Mom went through a lot and now she's in a better place, no more pain nor discomfort. Always treasure your memories of the good times .
May God bless you.
Love Lucille

You were a inspiration to us all and will be sorely missed.

Dear Family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I have worked with VSA now for 10 years, and had the pleasure to work with Joan on many projects. She was a great leader with our company, and is missed very much. Our hearts go out to you from Atlanta! God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Donald C. Corron II

Joan was a great friend when I first started working at VSA. Coming in as her new boss could have been difficult but she made me feel at home and over the next 8 years she was a great friend who loved to laugh about some of the nutty things that went on. Joan was always the first person I asked about after I left. She will be greatly missed, but heaven has a place for her.

The day that I first met her I noticed her smile. Her eyes looked as if she knew something about the world that others were seeking. She had a goodness about her when talking to people not only personally but professionaly. Individuals that worked with her and for her for many years always reacted positively to her leadership and personality.

As I worked with her over the years I continued to see the smile even when she struggled to sustain the effort to breath, to walk and to...

I worked w/Joan for a year from 1997-1998, we all knew of her cancer then and not once did she ever complain. I remember her giving me advice on a personal matter, she inspired me so much because her outlook on life was so uplifting. Her courage and the strength she had not to give up should be an inspiration to us all. She will be sadly missed.

Joan is one of my favorite people -- an "earth-angel" (now a true angel), friend, confidante, the one who calls me "L", and the one who hired me for this job that I really like. I miss her and will remember her always.

Dear Tommy & Jason,

Your Mom was so special to me, to so many of us. She always talked about you and how much she loved you and dear little Sara. Her courageous battle always gave me hope and encouragement - that was the way she lived her life, always positive...I will miss her and I will cherish having known her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
