Not sure what to say?

An all around lovely woman. It was a joy to know Joan and work with her at EGRPS. She was an inspiration to many. RIP Joan.

Joan played the piano at Porter Hills Vespers Worship services - and what a delight! She would play a15 minute prelude. Many residents would come early to the service so they could sing along with her familiar music. I was privileged to lead the worship on many Sunday´s when Joan provided the music. She was a gifted treasure. Pastor Ralph Robrahn

A wonderful woman. I worked with her at EGR schools. Sorry for your loss.

I remember rescuing Trillium from a construction area near our house in AnnArbor with her and Jen. We even took some Trillium to Connecticut. Every time that I see it, I think of her.

Thoughts and prayers are with you Melissa and your family. I did not know your mom but I know you and that tells me your mom was an incredible person.

I am so grateful for Joan´s guidance as I learned to paint in our group at church. She will be missed.

I remember Joan from many years together at Immanuel Reformed Church on Eastern and then on E. Veltline. Joan played at our wedding at Immanuel in 1978. We reconnected at LaGrave CRC.

I certainly enjoyed knowing Joan. She was so generous in sharing her talent. She taught me how to do fiber art and shared trillium from construction sites. Thankful to God for her loving spirit and many talents. My sympathy to you in the loss of your dear mother. John 14:1.

Our little watercolor group at LaGrave was truly blessed by the expertise of Joan´s talent in helping us learn to paint better. We will miss her!
