Joan was kind to me -- and very fair -- when she was Mayor in Franklin Township, NJ; this was especially so when I was new to the Council. I still remember her well.

My deepest sympathy to your family and those who knew Joan. She was the Mayor when I joined the Franklin Township Council, and she was extremely helpful and kind to me.

Although I did not know her well, I met Joan at Old St. Pauls for Friday morning mass. My prayers are with the family. I will think fondly of her on Fridays at mass.
