Boyle, Joan R. "Joni" age 72, of Minnetonka, passed away Feb. 17, 2007 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Lawrence & Ruth Roby. Survived by loving children, Mark (Janette Hensleigh) Boyle, Scott Boyle, Laura (Scott) Minette and Jane (Dale) Specken; grandchildren, Melissa, Scott, Paige and C.J. Memorials preferred to Park Nicollet Cancer Center. Memorial celebration Thursday, Feb. 22, 10:30 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service and Wednesday, Feb. 21, 4-7 PM, all at: Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins 952-938-9020

Laura, so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm glad that you were able to spend the last 2 weeks with her. You will always treasure that time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take care.

Dear Boyle Family. Joni was my Administrative Assistant for seven years when I was at Park Plaza. I know you had a wonderful mother, because she kept such great care of me....almost like a mother. I will always remember her. God Bless

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I worked with Joni at St. Louis Park Plaza. She was a wonderful person. I just lost my husband on Valentines Day, so it was very hard to hear of Joni's passing as well. May God Bless You and be with you and your family.
