Glenn:
Joan was a loving companion and always game for the next adventure. I am fortunate to have accompanied her on several of those adventures over the last 20 years;Grand Canyon just won't be the same without her.

Joan lived across the street from me for over 30 years. She loved the tee shirts she and Glen had from the places they visited. She shared their trips with us. I will miss her.

Dear Glen,
We are very sorry for the loss of our beloved Joan. You and Joan always welcomed us in as a part of your family. The memories of our time together will always be in our thoughts, especially Joan's kindness and endless smiles.
Our hearts go out to you and to all your family.

Joan was such a great friend of mine for 35 years. I will miss her so. She will be remembered by many for the good times everyone had with her.

Our sincere sympathy to our dear neighbor Glenn and all of your and Joan's wonderful extended family. Joan was a fantastic neighbor, friend and inspiration in our lives. Her love of nature and her exuberance traveling the world was a positive force to all who knew her. She always had a sweet, kind word for those around during the countless walks she took in the neighborhood. We enjoyed visiting with you all during your many jubilant celebrations as well as during the quieter times when she...

Joan will be very much missed, but not forgotten, at the campfires in
Anza Borrego.

Glenn and family, my deepest condolences on the passing of Joan. She was a dear person and wonderful friend. For a short time she consented to be my secretary while I was principal of Hoover. She was a godsend. I am so sorry.
