Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of seeing Joan at our Tuesday, Thursday exercise class.Joan always had a wonderful smile and genuine concern for everyone she met. She was certainly an inspiration to all! My thoughts and prayers are with all her family and friends...she will be missed.

Joan was a shining star to all she encountered and a joy to spend time with. Joan maintained the ability to make those in her presence feel special and the focus of her attention. Her presence on this earth will surely be missed.

My prayers are with you, Carolyn.

We will all miss Joan in our book discussion group. She always had something relevant and interesting to say. She often had insight about a plot that the rest of us didn't think about...and her humor was also displayed at times. She respected the opinions of others, and was always kind in her response. Rest in peace Joan.

It was my great pleasure & honor to have met Joan in morning fitness classes. She had the kindest spirit!. I feel blessed to have known her & sadden that I will not have the chance to know her better. She was a rare bit of gentleness in my often crazy world. She will be missed by all fortunate enough to have met her.

Carolyn, So sorry to hear about your mom. When I don't know what to pray for, I pray for peace. We will be praying for peace for your family and you will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Meg (Fortin) Vaughn

I knew Joan from our work at Delta College. She was the sweetest and most lovely lady and will be greatly missed by her many friends.
