JOAN E. BURTON

LAKE ZURICH - Joan E. Burton, 78, passed away May 17, 2017. She was born in Detroit, MI on March 9, 1939. She graduated from Roodhouse Illinois High School in 1956. Joan married the love of her life, Frank Burton, on October 15, 1960. Joan had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs. She also loved shopping, crafts, and telling jokes. Survivors include her husband, Frank Burton; children, Wendy (Lionel) DeGrand and Frank A. (Cindi) Burton; grandchildren, Stephanie (Maxwell) Reese and Valerie Burton; and great-grandchild, Madelynne Reese. She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, James and Bulah Newton; and special aunt and uncle, Winnie and Fred Wagner. A memorial visitation will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 4 pm until the time of a service at 7:30 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rte 176), Crystal Lake.
