I enjoyed teaching with Joan at St. Bernadette during the 1980's. She had the perfect demeanor and energy to challenge the students in a positive way. A few years later, I was fortunate to take a week long summer psychology class with Joan. She helped to make the most mundane part of the class a fun time. When I was principal at St. Richard Elementary School, I offered Joan a position as Religion Teacher for our older students. Unfortunately, this would have impacted her pension. We...

My sincere condolences on the loss of Joan. She was such a wonderful woman & I was blessed to work with her at Saint Bernadette School. She was a very gifted teacher, full of love for God & for her students. The heavens aquired another angel in her.

Larry and I offer our deepest condolences. Joan was such a kind and generous person. We have been neighbors for over 14 years and we will miss her so much. Such great memories of her walking her beloved dog Chloe. We are here if you need anything.
