I was blessed to get to know Joan the last few months of her life. She came to SarahCare Adult Day Center two days a week.
I remember when we were bowling in our activity room and she
loved it, here was this tiny women in a wheelchair, blind and a wee bit deaf taking that bowling ball in her hand and knocking those pins down! We all cheered and the smile on her face lit up the room.
I will miss her hugs...
