Joan Burton Caldwell

Joan would not know me, but her mom was my English teacher who changed my life. I just retired after 51 years of teaching English-inspired by Mary Burton who saw me and set me on that path. Mrs. Pinson/Caldwell was one of my favorite teachers at Stratford High School. She was an amazing English teacher and I loved her class. Mrs. Pinson/Caldwell taught us "book learning" plus so many life skills. She was so good about sharing her life's journey with her students.
