Joan Carbo Obituary

CARBO Joan Loyacano Carbo passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the age of 74. She was the beloved wife of Marvin Carbo for the past 42 years and the loving mother of Gina Broussard (Larry), Suzanne Shipley (David), Annette Bodden (Jim), Marvin F. Carbo and the late John "Jay" Carbo. She was the devoted grandmother of Nicholas Carman, Melissa Wildey, Shannon Clements, Jason Shipley, Travis Shipley, Susan Bodden and Erica Bodden as well as the great-grandmother of 12. She was the daughter of the late John and Isabel Tully Loyacano and the sister of Jean Poche' and John Loyacano, Jr. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services from WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA, on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM when a Memorial Mass will be held in the Chapel.
