Mary my condolences to and your entire family on the loss of your mom. She was a great lady who raised a great family.

Which memorable and beautiful life and I´m so sorry just learning of Joan´s passing now. She´s left a wonderful legacy through her tremendous family and beautiful grandchildren. Pat Fahy

To Jim, Mary and all of the Carr Family, We are so sorry to just be hearing of your mom´s passing. Your words in remembrance here are wonderful. Please know that we send our heartfelt condolences. She was one of our favorite people to meet from time to time, usually at mass or at the library, she always brought good cheer, great kindness, and, without fail, a little joyful reminiscing on her beloved Adirondacks! We will always remember her with a smile. May she rest in peace.

For the 2.5 years that I have known Joan, she has been a delight. I am so blessed to have been a part of her life. Her wit and charm made it easy to want to help her in any way that I could. She was so blessed to have such a loving and attentive family. Thank you all for letting me be apart of her life. She will be greatly missed. Stephanie

Those who encountered Joan only once were met with gentleness, grace, & kindness. Those of us who knew Joan for many years had the added privilege of a generous and loving friendship without conditions. We are better people because of her!

Mrs. Carrs legacy is her children and son, Jim, my partner, learned her lessons well and exemplifies all those qualities of kindness, competence and care for others that she demonstrated her entire life!

To all of Joan´s great Family: We are very sorry for your loss.

Mrs, Carr was always kind and patient to the neighborhood kids who used to play all sports at the Carr backyard Municipal Park. Baseball, football, hockey, soccer, and sledding. Mrs. Carr you took us all in stride when we invaded your yard and home. God Bless You!
