Todd & family- Joanie is certainly a light to all who knew her. I only met her a handful of times and she was wonderful and each time I think of her I smile. What an enormous legacy she´s left. Lots of prayers for strength and peace.

Dear Joanie was the most thoughtful person, as her obituary recounts. I´m a Stonehill college friend who was privileged to have known her and shared many laughs and memories. When I adopted my beloved rescue dog Bailey, she sent him a box of doggie toys, a doggie blanket and treats. Also a "scrabble tiled" namesake leash holder from a family member- crafter I think. Joanie's friends and family meant the world to her. Her ability to forge and maintain lifelong connections was a hallmark of her life. Throughout elementary school, she organized annual childhood Christmas caroling groups (with weekly practice sessions held in the basement of "10 Bradford") as well as themed Halloween groups, notably the 7-person Wizard of Oz cast extravaganza.
