Joan C. Chaput

I am just learning of Joan's passing on to Spirit and am so saddened by the news. I met Joan, a sister haikuist, in a mentoring group led by Nicky Guiterrez of the Haiku Society of America. Joan had a keen eye and a lovely wit which clearly showed in her poetry. I will dearly miss her aliveness and soft demeanor.
