Read MoreMy mom, Opal Christesson, of Melrose spoke often of your mother. They would see each other at church and local functions. Mom passed away April 28 at the age of 94. They were distant friends for many years. How wonderful they will meet again in heaven and very near in line together. I'm sorry for your loss.

Joan and Emmitt were dear friends. Mr. Clayton was a beloved teacher whom I truly respected. He was a skilled leather craft teacher, also. They were very community minded. I was acquainted with Joan but didn't really know her. Her aunt, Mrs. Wilbanks was my history teacher, her mother, Mrs. Foster was the Sunday school teacher of one of my children, and Mrs. Self was the school teacher of one of my children. when Mrs. Self was in a facility toward the end of her life one of my daughters was in nursing training. they were a nice family and helped others. may their tribe increase.
